For years, I watched women walk through my door carrying more than they felt humanly possible and even worse, it was more than anyone else could see.
They were exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed, unable to sleep, struggling with digestive issues, chronic tension, fatigue, brain fog, and a growing sense that something was wrong with them.
Most had tried everything they knew to try.
They blamed themselves for not being stronger, more motivated, more disciplined, or more resilient.
But what I saw again and again, was something different.
I saw women carrying impossible amounts of stress for far too long.
I saw nervous systems stuck in survival mode.
I saw women's' bodies trying desperately to get their attention through exhaustion, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, tension, digestive upset, and emotional overwhelm.
I know this not only from my work with clients, but from my own life as well.
Like many women, I have lived through seasons where stress felt relentless and my body carried the weight of experiences that could not simply be thought away, or pushed through.
Over time, I learned that healing rarely comes through force.
It comes through understanding and trusting that a return to the 'basics' is actually realistic and powerful healing.
